INVOLVE AWARD 2010

The Westwood School has won the Services Involve Award. We were the only secondary school nominated by an independent panel. We have been recognised as a school who truly involves children and young people within our organisation by promoting and offering opportunities for them to make a difference; it is the highest possible recognition of the quality of student involvement.

The ceremony at The Britannia Hotel, where our Student Voice Co-ordinator was also nominated for a prize, was attended by representatives of the Student Council, Prefects, Community Ambassadors and our Headteacher. We were very proud to accept the award from the Lord Mayor of Coventry, Mr Jack Harrison.
